And I would have to mention Donovan. Most song lyrics are just that, however. It is a different art, writing song lyrics and writing poetry. And spoken word poetry - veering into rap at times (Benjamin Zephaniah, etc) - is also an art form in its own right. But there is an overlap, definitely.
