You could go into them and feel safe. Nobody ever felt out of place."<br />Amen to that Peter. I came to Cardiff to be a student nurse in the 70s, the place captured my heart and I stayed. I had the privilege of wandering down then unknown but soon to become familiar and what always felt to be darkened streets, stumbling across the Lifeboat, Marchioness and Greyhound and, then, spending evenings feeling at home.
